Diagnostics and Repair

WNC PCs has many years of experience servicing both pcs, servers, and laptops from many manufacturers.  We also have the experience to custom build a system or an entire network to suit the specific needs of your business or home office.  We offer technical support for desktops, laptops, and printers, at your home or business.  If it's more convenient we can pick up your equipment, repair it offsite and return it to you in a timely manner.

Telephone Technical Support

WNC PCs can in some instances assist and solve your problems with a simple phone call.  Contract customers receive complimentary support calls up to 7 minutes.  Calls beyond 7 minutes or calls from non-contract customers will be billed at the standard depot rate in .25 hour increments.  Payments for phone support may be made through a paypal account for non-contract customers.

Preventative Maintenance and Remote Monitoring

Equipment inspections performed at regular intervals along with installation of critical Windows updates can uncover potential problems before they cause you expensive downtime. We can also provide you with a report of the software installed on your system, what versions you are running and most serial numbers associated with your software.  Remote monitoring of your backup software (when supported) allows us to quickly respond to failures which could result in lost data in the event of a system failure.

Remote Assistance and Remote Maintenance

If you have a high speed internet connection and your computer is not down, we can save you time and money by connecting remotely.  Using the latest remote control software our technicians can quickly and securely access your pcs and servers remotely for maintenance and troubleshooting. This enables a much faster response time thus reducing downtime and saving everyone time and money.

Pre-Paid Service

If you prefer to purchase a block of hours instead of writing multiple checks and dealing with multiple invoices you may be interested in a 25 hour block of service.  You can save some money on your maintenance costs and avoid the trip charge which is applied to normal service calls.  Pre-Paid Service customers have priority scheduling if an emergency situation arises which is causing downtime and potentially costing your company money.  Response times may vary but typical response times in these situations are 2 to 4 hours.  Response times cannot be guaranteed during times of heavy call volume, such as lightning damage due to severe weather affecting multiple customers simultaneously, etc.

We are currently scheduling onsite computer and networking services and pick-ups for depot service in Asheville, NC and the surrounding areas of Western North Carolina.

We also offer website hosting, MS Access database programming and graphic design services.
